Maximise the Performance of Your Garage Floor Tiles

To get the most out of your garage floor tiles, it's essential to install them on a flat, level surface. Additionally, please follow these key guidelines:

  • Expansion Gap: Ensure a 5mm expansion gap around the edges of the tiles to accommodate natural movement. For spans longer than 10 meters, increase this expansion gap to 10mm.
  • Direct Sunlight: These tiles are designed for covered areas and should not be installed where they will be exposed to prolonged direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can cause the tiles to heat and expand, which may result in temporary lifting or buckling at the interlocking joins. This is particularly important near garage doorways or other areas where direct sunlight may fall across the floor.
