Installation Guide

Get your space ready

Install your Garage Tiles on a flat, level hard surface in a covered area. Clear the space and sweep away loose dirt before you begin.

Avoid areas exposed to prolonged direct sunlight, including sunny garage entrances. Heat from sunlight can cause the tiles to expand and temporarily lift at the joins.

Measure your floor

Each pack contains 12 tiles and covers 3 m².

Measure your floor’s length and width in metres, multiply them to calculate the area, then divide by three. Round up to a whole pack and allow extra for cuts or spare tiles.

Plan your layout

Check your layout before connecting the tiles. Allow room around walls and fixed objects for the flooring to expand.

Leave a 5 mm gap around the perimeter. For runs of 10 m or more, leave a 10 mm gap.

Connect your tiles

Fit the interlocking edges together, working across your planned layout. No adhesives are needed.

Check the joins as you go and maintain the expansion gaps around the edges.

Fit the edges

Measure the remaining spaces carefully before trimming your edge tiles. Remember to include the expansion gap in your measurements.

Check the finished floor

Check that the tiles lie flat, the joins are connected and the perimeter gaps remain clear.

Keep an eye on areas near garage doors where sunlight may heat the floor.
